Version 4.14, September 12, 2017

This version includes additional C++17 support and also Microsoft/GNU/Clang
compatibility improvements.

The following additional C++17 features are now supported:
     - Fold expressions
     - Exception specifications as part of the type
     - constexpr lambdas
     - Lambda capture of *this by value
     - Construction rules for enum class values
     - Dynamic allocation for over-aligned data
     - constexpr if
     - inline variables
     - Structured bindings
     - Selection statements with initializers
     - Removing deprecated exception specifications

C++17 significantly changes the way exception specifications are handled.
The noexcept status is now part of the function type, and dynamic exception
specifications (those that specify a type) have been removed. Making
the exception specification part of the type has the potential for some
subtle (and possibly not-so-subtle) ABI issues. See the 8/3/17 Changes entry
for more information.

The default type of the ETS flags type used in the exception handling
runtime has been changed when ABI_COMPATIBILITY_VERISION >= 414. The
old type can be selected without affecting functionality, but use of the
new type is encouraged. See the 9/5/17 Changes entry for more information.

The builtin function support incorporates changes in the GCC builtin function
signatures through GCC version 6.4 (for the GCC 6.x versions) and GCC version
7.2 (for the GCC 7.x versions), and in the clang builtin function signatures
as of clang 4.0.1.

As usual, we have fixed bugs, added many minor features, and continued to
improve our various compatibility modes. See the Changes_4.14 file for
full details (about 3,000 lines).

This release includes new target-dependent variables. If you are using
run-time target configurations (other than the default ones we provide), you
will need to update those to include new target-specific configuration macros
with appropriate values for each of your target configurations. The new
target configuration variables are:

  targ_ets_flag_type_int_kind
  targ_default_new_alignment

Note that if you do not provide the necessary configuration macros, you
will get build errors along the lines of "TARG_XXX_my_config undefined".
